Marketing & Events Coordinator

Role Overview:

This position is centered on promoting cross-chain decentralized finance initiatives. The main objectives are to enhance stakeholder engagement and indirectly contribute to the security of blockchain through Lido software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing and Visibility: Enhance the visibility of Lido protocol's interactions and integrations across various blockchain networks. Develop and implement strategies for promoting Lido's liquid staking solutions.

• Content Creation & Relationship Management: Create compelling Protocol Relations content to effectively communicate with traditional stakeholders and institutions. Build and maintain robust relationships with protocols, partners, and Tier 1 collaborators.

• Event Coordination & Strategic Partnership: Organize Protocol Relations-related events, collaborate on Go-To-Market strategies with Tier 1 partners, and manage timelines for content release.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other contributors within Lido (Marketing, Legal, etc.) to optimize efficiency and adaptability.

• Knowledge & Research: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance, and potential applications.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the blockchain industry, preferably in marketing or event organization within a DeFi protocol.

• Strong command over popular L1-L2 networks, bridges, dexes, aggregators, oracles, money markets, and lending/borrowing protocols.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Demonstrated success in organizational activities and adaptive thinking.

Role Specifics:

• Understanding the interconnectedness within a DeFi ecosystem.

• Ability to articulate product features to a diverse audience including institutions.

• Flexibility in adapting to the unique dynamics of working within a DAO.
