ROLE OVERVIEW
The Medical Services Coordinator is a point of contact between multiple parties including patients, physicians, pharmacy staff, and others. Taking charge of day-to-day operations of the Medical Services team by working as a liaison between leadership and Medical Services staff to ensure operations are covered and completed in a timely manner.

HOURLY PAY: $20.25 - 21.25 /hour
LOCATION: The office is located at 31573 Rancho Pueblo Rd. Ste. 200, Temecula, CA 92592
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist medical staff with necessary aspects of patient care
· Ensure timely and professional communication with medical staff and patients
· Answer all incoming calls to the medical services department
· Address all voicemail messages left on patient line
· Communicate messages to medical staff via EMR messaging
· Immediately attend to emergent issues
· Completion of medical records- related tasks as assigned
· Scan all hard-copy correspondence into clients EMR record
· Prepare any prescription paperwork correspondence from medical staff for patients to pick up with proper documentation
· Secure any release of information forms required by clients
· Facilitate communication between patient, medical provider, and pharmacy
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent; medical administrative services certification preferred
· 2+ year of experience in medical administrative services
· Ability to work independently and as a team member
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Strong organizational and follow through skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task
· Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
· Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
