This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.This role will be based in San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC.The LinkedIn Talent Solutions (LTS) Biz Ops team is searching for a strategic and results-driven Business Operations Manager to join our team. This person will partner with senior leaders across the Global Business Organization to drive strategic initiatives that shape the growth trajectory of the Talent Solutions business.In this high-visibility role, you will collaborate and work closely with cross-functional partners across Sales Operations, Product Marketing, Pricing, FP&A and other functions to drive forward strategic initiatives. From developing the launch strategy – including sales motions, account prioritization, KPIs, and tollgates – for new products we’re bringing to market, to developing and implementing strategies to accelerate core product growth within the existing customer base, this role is at the forefront of operationalizing disruptive ideas to grow a multi-billion-dollar business.The ideal candidate is at the intersection of strong strategic and analytical thinking combined with leadership skills to drive change. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and a history of driving results. Most importantly, the candidate will deliver through strong relationships and use excellent communication to reach alignment across executive teams, keep projects on track, create an inclusive culture, and have fun.Responsibilities:• Partner with sales leadership to deliver strategic projects that enable the business to execute its highest priority initiatives (e.g. building go-to-market strategies for new product launches; developing acceleration plans for new commercial models; etc.)• Leverage LinkedIn data to conduct in-depth analyses across areas of the business (e.g. customer segments / regions / product lines) to develop deep understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and opportunities• Act as the strategic thought partner to various members of the Sales Leadership team, helping shape the sales strategy for various segments of the Talent Solutions business• Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Business Development, Corporate Development, and other internal groups, etc.), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal• Inspire teams to live our cultures and values, including creating diversity, inclusion and belonging; using humor; taking intelligent risks & challenging the status quoQualificationsBasic Qualifications:• BA or BS degree in business, economics, math, statistics, computer science, or related discipline or relevant work experience• 6+ years of experience, including 2+ years in strategy consulting or a strategy-related rolePreferred Qualifications:• MBA degree, or advanced degree is preferred• Experience leading large cross-functional teams through change management programs• Ability to articulately present and debate recommendations at the executive level• Experience with enterprise software or SaaS GTM strategy• Experience in growth strategy in technology, media, recruiting or related industries• Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations• Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations• Technically proficient (or interested in learning) SQL, experience a plus.• High-energy, team-first attitude: Motivated to work hard in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing businessSuggested Skills:• Strategic Planning/Consulting• Analytical Reasoning• Data-Driven Decision Making• People ManagementLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is [$123,000 to $199,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
