This role will be based out of New York City, New York.

As an East Regional Manager for Large Enterprise Account Directors, you will play a critical role in leading this team into the next chapter of LinkedIn’s business. You will manage our most tenured Account Directors who will be selling solutions to address talent objectives and challenges that span planning, hiring, development and engagement for our largest and most complex customers.

Responsibilities:    

  • Develop and execute against a focused sales strategy to renew and expand the customer base for our Large Enterprise customers. Leverage relationships internally and externally to open doors to new strategic business opportunities.    

  • Compassionately manage and coach seasoned sales professionals and senior-level cross-functional partners  

  • Drive a culture of forecasting excellency across team and similarly prepare and present accurate sales forecasts to senior management.   

  • Prioritize initiatives, create focus for the team and hold them accountable to the use of systems, tools, sales process, and methodology. (CRM/Gong/VEM etc.)  

  • Directly manage the day-to-day operations of the team with the ability to grow and scale, as necessary. Manage escalations and participate directly in all aspects of the sales cycle to ensure customer and member satisfaction.    

  • Be directly involved with the mentorship and development of the team including recruiting, hiring, training and compassionately performance managing new Large Enterprise Account Directors.  You should have a particular emphasis on coaching and be fully conversant in relation to our Value Engagement and Blueprint methodologies.  

  • Ability to build and foster strong cross-functional partnerships.   

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define segment strategy and lead high impact initiatives to fuel new growth areas.   

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening, written and verbal across all channels.  

  • Up to 20% travel is required for this role.   

  • Demonstrated commitment to building diverse teams and fostering an inclusive team culture.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:    

  • 4+ years sales management experience or 4+ years' experience supporting Global clients  

  • 6+ years of quota-carrying sales experience.    

  • Experience working with Large Enterprise customers and an understanding of the needs and challenges these customers possess.  

  • Team/POD-selling environment experience.   

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.    

  • A demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.  

  • Experience with managing through significant change.  

  • Expertise in the understanding and application of relevant sales methodologies and metrics.    

  • A demonstrated experience of effectively hiring and motivating seasoned Account Directors.    

  • A demonstrated ability to manage remote employees.  

  • Ability to evaluate sound business opportunities and close deals.    

  • Strong knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools to manage sales-related activities.    

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and to guide/direct others.   

  • Strong oral/written communication and negotiating skills. Excellent client management, presentation skills and conflict resolution ability.   

  • A history of strong Executive level client relationships.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. 

The pay range for this role is $232,000 to 354,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
