Are you an expert Market Researcher who loves leveraging insights to influence business decisions?  We are looking for a product-savvy and influential Market Researcher to create and nurture a lasting relationship between LinkedIn and our customers.The Senior Market Research Manager will partner closely with global product and brand marketing to drive the research and insights strategy and execution for our LinkedIn Sales Solutions business. The ideal candidate will be both analytical and creative, collaborative and will exemplify LinkedIn’s culture and values.This position sits in the Market Research team within the broader Marketing organization and is responsible for driving understanding of LinkedIn’s members and customers, specifically those who are using or are potential users of LinkedIn Sales Navigator. We’re excited about researchers who have a strong results orientation and know how to create value in an agile, fast paced, high performing environment.  Responsibilities:• Initiate, lead, and execute research to answer high priority business questions such as: Business Health (e.g. Brand Trackers), Product and Marketing Assessment (e.g. Features tests, Concept Testing), Audience and Category assessments (e.g. Audience Segmentation and Targeting)• Design and recommend best research methodology (qual/quant/behavioral) to answer complex business questions and manage end-to-end research projects, building on expertise in research and statistics to address key business challenges• Scope and design global research projects/action plan with key business goals and planning timelines in mind• Draft questionnaires and discussion/interview guides• Manage end-to-end project set-up and execution (in-field) in close collaboration with the research operations team or external vendors• Analyze data (using a variety of tools and resources) - includes survey-based data and linking to behavioral data when relevant• Translate research findings into clear business implications and drive increased interest for research• Build strong relationships with Product and Brand Marketing partners to embed self in business and be in a strong position to be seen as consultative partner and ensure insights are converted to actionSuccess in this role is measured by:• Ability to deliver strategic research and insights, change stakeholder perceptions on product roadmap decisions and elevate the Market Research team by introducing new research methods• Ability to recommend and execute on appropriate methodology based on business need and resourcing parameters – may include more in-depth in-house quantitative research, agile/quick-turn methods, and/or leveraging external research agency partners, as well as mix of ad hoc and tracking/programmatic research• Developing your curiosity and understanding of the Sales Tech landscape and the mindset of sales professionals• Ability to proactively shape and lead Sales Solutions market research prioritization through collaboration with cross-functional partners including product and brand marketing, UXR, product and business operations • Ability to effectively persuade in communicating insights clear and succinctly, while connecting the dots across multiple sourcesQualificationsBasic Qualifications:• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience• 5+ years of market research experience (including hands-on experience in designing questionnaires and conducting data analysis/synthesis & experience with both qualitative and quantitative research, with expertise across a variety of quantitative methodologies)Preferred Qualifications:• Experience working with cross-functional partners (e.g. marketing, product, brand, user research), including a proven track record of influencing to make research driven decisions• Experience working with and analyzing large data sets• Experience with influencing decisions in complex, matrixed organizations• Familiarity/experience with data processing tools (e.g. Decipher, Q, SPSS)• B2B research experience and/or understanding of the sales tech landscape is a plus• Experience with management consulting, structured thinking and ability to apply set frameworks is a plusSuggested Skills:• Project & Time Management• Adaptability• Persuasive & Strategic Communication• Relationship Building• Consultative NatureLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The pay range for this role is $115,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
