Principal Network (DevOps) Engineer

LivePerson is seeking a Principal Network Engineer with expertise in networking technologies to support global infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, decision-making abilities, and extensive experience in network protocols and services.

Skills

Strong working knowledge in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, static)
Experience with data center and cloud networking technologies
Proficiency in Arista and Cisco configurations
Deep understanding of network protocols and services
Experience with firewall configurations and security concepts
Knowledge of cloud technologies - GCP, AWS, Azure
Proficiency in version control concepts and operations (Git)
Experience with automation tools and modules (Rundeck/Puppet/Terraform)

Responsibilities

Work US hours shift and weekend on-call rotation
Provide rapid response to incidents and requests
Support global network infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment
Implement changes, upgrades, and preventative maintenance to infrastructure
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and vendor incidents to resolution
Develop and leverage automation and monitoring tools
Collaborate in a global team on projects and operational efficiencies
