Job Summary:
This position is responsible for starting, shutting down, monitoring, controlling, and securing all standby equipment operating machinery, for efficient and dependable plant operations and ensuring the overall security by monitoring visitors, contractors, vendors, and company employees entering and leaving the facility.
The Bentonville LNG plant sits on 109.5 acres of land and encompasses 1 billion cubic feet of storage space. The facilities main function is to provide the company with the opportunity to purchase gas at lower rates, store it, vaporize it in order to hold down customer prices. The facility must also maintain a ready state to provide emergency gas when called upon by customers.
Responsibilities & Duties:

Control and monitor the operations of the LNG facility including liquefaction, vaporization, and the operation of all related equipment and machinery.

Have understanding of each process and associated procedures and schematics in order to maintain the equipment in a safe and cost efficient manner.

Operate and maintain LNG facility according to guidelines set forth by DOT 193 of CFR 49, NFPA 59A, company policies and procedures to ensure assigned functions are carried out and proper procedures are followed, and materials used comply with design specifications.

Operate the plant security system including monitoring of all visitors entering and leaving the facility.

Monitor the security perimeter using cameras, intrusion detection, as well as walking the perimeter of the facility. Also monitor smoke, gas and flame detectors and identifying each.

Assist the maintenance personnel with the maintenance, repair and overhaul of equipment.

Make equipment rounds of the facility to take readings, check for leaks in pipes and valves, and respond to alarms.

Keep log of all changes, adjustments, modifications, and repairs during course of shift.

Coordinate with gas control on the volumetric takes to and from the main pipeline system. Transmit daily volumetric readings to gas control. Alert gas control of any significant changes to the operational status of the LNG plant.

Assist in writing/revising plant operations procedures, remain current in plant operations, maintenance, safety procedures, fire prevention, fire fighting techniques and in CBT based LNG training.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and required.

Specific Requirements:
This position contains a weight restriction of 275 pounds as an essential function of the job. The purpose of this restriction is to ensure that all weight-rated equipment is used in an appropriate and safe manner within maximum allowed weight loading.
Work Requirements:
Facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Shifts may include working days, nights, holidays and weekends.
