Both are the site for multiple administrative departments and system-wide training programs.Location address is 5000 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77381 .Job DescriptionPURPOSE AND SCOPE:The Coordinator I, Procurement is responsible for supporting the Executive Director and Procurement Team in all phases of the Procurement and Purchasing process. Makes action recommendations to peers or superiors. Serves as a resource to the Procurement department, college staff, and vendors for PeopleSoft transaction applications and general office duties as assigned.Essential Job Functions• Provide system support and troubleshoot the e-procurement bidding module and ERP systems• Support the Procurement team with the solicitation of goods and services for the College• Maintain, track, and report and upload required contracts via the Legislative Budget Board portal. Maintain, create, track, and upload HB 1295 required reporting to Texas Ethics Commission portal• Addresses and resolves PO closing through collaboration with department analysts• Responsible for maintaining, review, updating the procurement department bid calendar to help ensure the planning of future bids, creation and delivery of non-award, award and renewal letters• Maintains procurement categories in iStar• Responsible for creating reports to monitor and report purchasing cooperative spend for rebates to the Executive Director on a monthly basis.• Review and update Procurement department internal website with current information• Assists Executive Director and staff with administrative duties as needed• Take part in special projects as needed• Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, Abilities• Ability to work in a collaborative work environment• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and vendors• Knowledge of common desktop office software (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)• Knowledge of navigation for the procurement process in People Soft ERP• Knowledge of the procurement process in a public institutionPhysical AbilitiesThe work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.Work Schedule And Conditions• Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment• Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position• Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazardsRequired Qualifications• Associate degree or higher and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Qualifications• Bachelor's degreeSalaryHiring salary range is $38,761.00 - $44,575.00.Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
