LPA is seeking a passionate Project Architect to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across California and Texas. Our clients are both public and private and represent nine different market segments so your career can take many different trajectories. Examples of projects we've completed in Austin include Casis Elementary School and General Marshall Middle School.

You will be working with directors and principals in the studio and across the firm. We are looking to you to help us continue to develop our talented designers and engineers.

 

What you will do:

  • You will lead, craft, and execute the project documentation and contract administration on projects

  • Lead the technical execution from concept design and documentation process with your team of designers and engineers

  • Work in unison with the Project Designer and Project Manager and lead the realization of the project

  • Oversee documentation for schematic design, design development and construction documents

  • Quality control research for product and construction methods related to projects

  • Lead the construction administration process

  • Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with clients, builders, governing authorities, stakeholders, and team members

  • Mentor your team members and help to train and upskill them

  • Provide mentorship from Managing Directors and Design Directors as well as other in-house disciplines on all projects

  • Provide career growth opportunities including professional development grants and our professional development process

  • In-house management and leadership training opportunities

  • Education opportunities including LPA+U and LPA Tech Talks

  • Provide study grants for exploration including Catapult and LPA Foundation

 

Project Architect Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture required

  • 10+ years of experience in all phases of architectural projects

  • Strong Revit knowledge

  • Expertise in building codes and construction as it relates to design and construction services

  • Architectural license required

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $145,000 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
