What you'll do
- Spearhead the development and evolution of single-page and micro-frontends as we modernize our tax platform towards a sophisticated SaaS solution.
- Build, maintain, and optimize advanced applications using Angular and supporting technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, backend developers, and UX/UI experts to deliver secure, performant, and delightful solutions.
- Shape and drive architectural and technology solutions, championing best practices and modern engineering practices.
- Ensure exceptional code quality through comprehensive reviews and testing strategies.
- Coach and support fellow engineers, actively sharing knowledge to promote team learning and growth.
- Stay engaged with the latest frontend trends and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What you bring to the table
- Extensive experience building robust web applications with Angular and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern web standards, with a good eye for accessibility and responsive design.
- Hands-on experience connecting frontends to RESTful APIs and understanding of integration best practices.
- Familiarity with automated end-to-end testing tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Prior experience in agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks, with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Strong communication skills and a user-focused mindset.
- Understanding of front-end architecture, micro-frontends, and single-page applications.
- Bonus: Experience with cloud-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, or similar infrastructure.
- A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
