THE ROLE
Providing detailed credit analysis of the complex commercial applications.
Conduct robust credit calls with Business Loan Applicants to ensure that key risks are mitigated and material assumptions are verified
Make recommendations to Deal Review Committee supported by the credit analysis and credit call that meet policy and quality requirements.
Assist Credit Managers with the review of the assessments conducted by junior members of the team ensuring that the minimum required quality is met
Provide timely feedback to junior credit analysts to assist with upskilling and improvement of the credit team
Building and maintaining effective relationship with the members of the sales team
Assist credit managers in upskilling sales team by delivering constructive feedback on the quality of the credit submissions and data collection.
THIS PERSON IS SOMEONE WITH…
Commercial credit experience in decisioning deals up to $5 million
Prior experience holding significant delegation - this is a must!
Experience in coaching and mentoring junior credit analysts
Demonstrated initiative, drive and enthusiasm
Excellent organisational and time management skills
High attention to detail
Strong ability to build relationships and act as a true team player
