As a key member of the Chicagoland team, the Luxury Travel Advisor will be responsible for providing the successful completion of luxury travel arrangements for Direct Travel Luxury clients.
This can be a remote position.
Responsibilities
Provide luxury travel sales by building a clientele of new and existing business
Build client base through Virtuoso marketing, local events and personal networking
Sell DT strategic supplier products
Plan itineraries, book tickets and arrange travel accommodations and services
Research and provide solutions to client travel-related problems
Provide excellent customer services to internal and external clients
Continued education via Virtuoso Travel Academy, internal programs, and travel

Basic Qualifications
Sabre or Apollo experience preferred
5+ years Leisure Industry experience
3+ years Luxury Travel Experience
International Travel Experience
Self-Driven/Motivated

Customer and Sales Focused
Social Media Savvy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
Demonstrated professional customer service skills
Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
Proven pursuit of learning and self-development

Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
