HR Director (Technology)

We are looking for a HR Director focused on our technology and corporate functions to join our People Team as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets. This is a London based role that will require some travel.

This is a high level Business partnering role, strategically consulting the business on organisational design, employee relations, performance management, HR analytics, talent management, compliance, compensation and benefits, learning, diversity and inclusion, and talent management. In addition, you'll focus on diagnosing, designing, and delivering employee experience programs and bespoke interventions.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the role holder will proactively collaborate with the business to develop and implement a service-oriented strategy. The goal is to ensure that employees enjoy a seamless experience and that business leaders have the support necessary to create high-performing teams.  Our Technology and Corporate functions are a mix of remote, office and hybrid workers.

This is a UK based Hybrid role, our office in London is at Kings Cross. You would be working with a diverse group of other employees from locations such as UK, Europe and Africa. You will be reporting to the CPeO

Expertise

Thought Leadership: Use your extensive HR knowledge to share HR best practices and pragmatic HR solutions drawn from industry standards.

Executive Coaching: Consultant and coach to people managers and senior leadership teams to grow leadership capability at all levels. Build the rapport and trust required to lead courageous coaching conversations with senior leaders.

Transformation mindset: Drive People programs through a seamless partnership with centres of excellence and HR Business Partners to deliver on career growth, mobility, executive development, and total rewards.

Develop Org Health: Deliver talent strategies, programs and mechanisms (performance, employee surveys, High Performing Org, and Talent Reviews) that enable the development and retention of top talent.

Data Led: Partner with the senior leadership teams to drive analysis, insights, and improvement in key people metrics, including Employee Engagement, Internal Mobility and Top Talent Retention

Advocate: Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.

Is this role right for you?

You'll need to leverage your extensive experience in HR leadership from a Tech or FinTech business. You should have expertise in strategic planning, organisational design and best practices in talent management. Good program skills are a must, backed by a track record of leading end-to-end complex initiatives in a tech organisation, preferably a scaling business.
