Project Estimator: This is where you come in.
We’re seeking a Project Estimator who can leverage strong business acumen, a deep understanding of trade means and methods, and expertise in the estimating process. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the estimating cycle and the types of projects they assess. As the bid captain and primary contact for all estimate-related inquiries, you’ll ensure clarity, precision, and accuracy throughout the bidding process. Estimate Development & Accuracy
- Prepare detailed, accurate estimates that comprehensively reflect project requirements.
- Analyze project plans and conduct site assessments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to gather input for estimates.
- Serve as the primary contact for estimate-related inquiries, ensuring open communication and alignment.
Business Knowledge & Value Engineering
- Stay informed about industry trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Contribute to the improvement of estimating practices and methodologies.
Estimating Process Proficiency
- Utilize advanced estimating tools and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Continuously refine estimating skills through training and development.
- Develop an understanding of construction trades, techniques, and risks.
Trade Knowledge & Risk Assessment
- Develop an understanding of construction trades, techniques, and risks.
- Collaborate with trade professionals to ensure realistic estimates and address potential challenges.
The Project Estimator reports directly to Jeff Phillips, Director of Estimating, and works as part of a collaborative team driving various projects and initiatives that support our growing business. This high-profile role engages with multiple departments and stakeholders at all levels across the organization.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience as an estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.

Compensation: $90,000 to $115,000 Annually
