In this unique role you’ll be lead the design of user-centered digital banking experiences across web and mobile platforms including the development and the evolution of the design system, style guides, and design patterns to ensure consistency in user experience of Western Union Ecosystem Organization.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead/participate in the full lifecycle of the Machine Learning and analytics projects from gathering requirements, architecting solution, and detailing the technical design.
• Design, lead, build and deploy machine learning models at scale, preferably in AWS.
• Represent the team to interface with internal and external customers and partners.
• Serve as the conduit between the business unit and the AI/ML development team.
• Build data pipelines in ETL to support the AWS model deployments as needed, preferably in Matillion, Talend or Snowflake.
• Technical solutioning skills with deep understanding of technical API integrations, AI, Data Science, Big Data, and public cloud architectures.
• Partner with the Data Engineers to build project components: data ingestion (ETL), databases, visualization, and possible machine learning components with both traditional and big data technologies.
• Experience in requirement gathering for database, analytical, and developing end to end ML solutions from business hypothesis to deployment / understanding the entirety of the ML development life cycle.
• Hands-on with designing relevant architecture/microservices to enable smooth deployment of models and post deployment tasks like model monitoring, re-training, model management in AWS.
• Exposure to cloud services necessary to build end to end pipeline and familiarity with MLOps concepts and cloud services like SageMaker, Data Robot, Vertex AI or Azure. Solid understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL, business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization.

Role Requirements

• A Computer’s Engineer Degree and/or relevant experience of minimum 4 years of Machine Learning model development and deployment.
• Experience deploying models in AWS SageMaker or any other AI/ML Platform.
• Experience working in Snowflake.
• Data analysis experience (able to write and understand complex queries to design and debug) in Snowflake, Amazon AWS, S3, Oracle, Talend ETL, Matillion etc...

Salary

The annual gross base salary range is $85,600.00-$146,100.00 per year. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus.
