Summary:
At our Dexter, MI location, we manufacture specialty high-precision balls for our customers. We have flexible capabilities able to accommodate customer needs ranging from single load to high volume batch production. Our customers are from a variety of different industries such as: oil & gas, transportation, nuclear, defense, life sciences and food handling. As a Machine Operator, you will play an integral role in the production process. Previous experience working with micrometers and gages will be beneficial. Training for the company's specialty machines will be provided. Training period will take place during 1st shift, (7 AM - 3:30 PM). Shift schedule may be subject to change once the training period has been completed. This location is part of a Union, (UAW Local 38). Benefits, vacation, 401K match are offered as well.


Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

• Run specifically designed machines for the manufacture of custom spherical products (balls) of various materials to high tolerances.
• Produce machine materials from many exotic materials.
• Use various compounds and media to obtain product geometry when producing items.
• Setup, operate, and run multiple machines to meet product specifications.
• Follow specifications such as diameter, sphericity, uniformity, and micro finish.
• Utilize micrometers and specifically devoted gages.

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Training for the company's specialty machines will be provided.
• Training period will take place during 1st shift, (7 AM - 3:30 PM).
• Hours of work may be susceptible to change after training period is completed.
• Capable of using micrometers and specifically devoted gages a plus.
