Machine Operator

Position Summary

• Safe and efficient operation of production equipment to include Neo Pure production equipment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) in detail without deviation.
• Perform routine equipment and product inspections to identify defects and to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Identify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification product conditions. Follow the established notification protocol.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments.
• Accurately and neatly complete production records and documents.
• Perform equipment change-overs, sanitation, clean-up and equipment set-up.

Position Responsibilities

• High school diploma or post-secondary certificate required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, is required. Ability to communicate with levels across the organization will be required.
• The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and can resolve mechanical issues on the Neo Pure equipment.
• Strong math skills.
• Will be required to work long days during both the season and off-season. Flexibility with work hours and location will be required
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. It is expected that all safety policies and procedures will be followed and enforced in such situations.
• Must take and pass the Criteria Test with a 70%.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The pay for this role in the state of CA is $24.56/hr.and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
