The Role:

Perform tasks directly related to the machining of graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialty materials

Machinist II and III positions offered based on experience.

In this role you will:

• Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties)
• Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment;
• Set up and run non-routine and complex parts;
• Complete machining tasks within a customer job.
• Routinely perform initial setup on new parts;
• May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Able to run most machines, included complex;
• Able to read and write the English language;
• Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality;
• Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings;
• Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods;
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
• Able to pass pre-employment physical;
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily;
• Experience in working in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 environment a plus;
• Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws;
• Dependable with flexibility to work shifts, over-time, and weekends to support business needs.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
