Who We Are Looking For:
This role will require someone who has:
-
5+ years experience in public accounting or financial operations
-
Technical Accounting Experience with SaaS Revenue Recognition, Internal Use Software, Stock Compensation (409a Valuation, etc.)
-
Accounting leadership experience in a complex multinational organization
-
Subject matter expert in multiple verticals in the finance and accounting discipline
-
Experience in legal entity optimization
-
Successful in early-stage startup environment, SaaS preferred
-
Experience in statutory reporting and compliance in a multinational corporation
-
ACCA required, CertIFR huge plus
-
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years experience

3 years “Big firm” public accounting experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
The Finance Controller will be responsible for:
-
Taking ownership of UK accounting including all general ledger, consolidation, technical accounting, month end, tax, financial consolidation, cash management, revenue recognition activities, monthly close, and flex analysis.

Acting as the primary accounting and tax expert and leader, overseeing all accounting policies and procedures for Pixalate Limited (UK)

Providing technical guidance across the business including communication/clarification of new laws and regulations related to GAAP, Tax, Statutory reporting, and SaaS framework.

Managing external auditor relationships to facilitate completion of audit procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

Preparing and publishing timely monthly & quarterly financial statements

Establishing, implementing, managing, and monitoring critical accounting and reporting policies, processes, and associated metrics

Working closely with management team, setting standards, and driving compliance
-
Directing the tax strategy, planning, and operating responsibility for a business/P&L or a functional taxes group, IT/Tax systems, and State and Local Taxes, Federal Taxes, related to Ireland and UK.

Prepare and execute investor communications, board meeting materials, etc.
