As a Manager, Analytics and Optimization for vCom, you will lead the Analytics and Optimization team with direct responsibility for employee management and development, process and procedure adherence and improvement, and regular and timely reporting of team activities to vCom leadership. You will manage Mobile Invoice Management and Optimizations across all categories of spend, ensuring customer requirements and deliverable are executed in a timely fashion with high quality results. As a manager, you will work with your peers and leadership to ensure the Analytics and Optimization Team is aligned with other vCom teams and company strategy. You will serve as an escalation point for all customer issues and new Software and Services in the Analytics and Optimization program.

In your first month, you’ll:
- Learn what vCom does and the tools we use to do it
- Become familiar with vManager and begin work toward becoming vManager Certified
- Understand the Analytics and Optimization team and their roles and responsibilities, join meetings, and learn processes
In your first 3 months, you’ll:
- Become vManager Certified
- Work with Analytics and Optimization team members to ensure responsibilities and deadlines are on track
- Identify potential software development enhancements to gain process efficiencies and automate routine items
- Begin working with team members on their career development plans
In your first 6 months, you’ll:
- Regularly identify ways to improve/streamline process
- Work with team members to build a routine schedule, review market factors that impact their activities, and ensure high quality results
- Deliver team metrics and KPI reporting with plans for improvement where needed
- Establish routine feedback and career development meetings with team members
What you’ll do:
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Analytics and Optimization Team, who are responsible for completing regular analysis and optimizations of customer IT Spend, recommending actions that drive cost savings and efficiencies, and other responsibilities
- Provide internal metric and KPI reporting as it relates to Expense Management
- Define and Implement automation that drives process efficiency
- Accomplish department objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating department activities, and implementing process improvements
- Build and grow high performing team by recruiting, selecting, training, and developing team members
- Develop personal growth opportunities for team members
- Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
- Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information
- Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements
- Contribute to team effort by delivering related results as needed
- Demonstrate commitment to vCom’s core values by leading, acting and behaving in a manner consistent with these values
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring:
- 4+ years in telecommunications or related expense management experience required
- 2+ years management experience required
- Self-motivated, with high learning aptitude, and initiative
- Resourceful, organized and independent
- Willingness to be flexible in order to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior time management and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects concurrently
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong PC skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general knowledge of database software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
It’s also helpful if you’ve got:
- BA/BS
- vManager Certification (either as a prerequisite or will be required as soon as possible after hire)
- Experience with IT Spend Analysis and Optimization methods and practices
Compensation:
- $100,000-$120,000 with additional earnings potential through bonuses, plus vCom's generous benefits package
The Selection Process
- After submitting a resume, qualified candidates will be invited to complete two separate assessments
- Once the assessments are completed, candidates will participate in a pre-screening phone screen with Human Resources
- A select group of candidates will be interviewed (rounds of interviews may include the team, the VP of Expense Management, and the COO)
