Manager, Global Benefits and Wellness

The Manager, Global Benefits and Wellness is responsible for assisting with the administration of all global benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, wellness programs, and 401(k) plan.
This position will be a hybrid role, providing flexibility to work from the office and from home.

Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor state-specific benefits and/or leaves to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Reviews and analyzes the benefits market to determine employee needs, trends, regulations, and practices, and develops competitive programs and services to meet company goals.
  • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.
  • Work with insurance broker to enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes.
  • Directs support functions in providing customer service, information records, claims, etc.
  • Work with insurance broker to respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries.
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment.
  • Oversees and assists with the open enrollment process.
  • Creatively think about employee well-being and inclusion and proactively identify opportunities to better serve the workforce with a suite of benefits offerings that align with the organization’s values.
  • Act as project manager for benefits for all acquisitions; including integration of newly acquired businesses and employees into current benefits, ensuring continuity of care and coverage is established.
  • Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.
  • Communicates policy and procedure changes to employees, HRBPs, vendors, and others

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of global benefits, wellness, and benefits plan design experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized, analytical, and ability to solve problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits, broker relationships, and applicable laws.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education required.
  • 8+ years experience in HR and/or benefits administration required.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification credential is preferred.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $91,500 - $120,000. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan.
