Manager, Human Resources

Our Human Resources Manager plays a key role as the front-line point of contact for our leaders and employees in our Marlborough, MA headquarters. You will engage and partner with teams at all levels, you will be a critical point of contact in areas of employee relations, on-boarding and off-boarding, HR compliance, recordkeeping, recruiting and selection, and performance management. This is an individual contributor role.

This person is customer-focused, an excellent communicator, has the ability to build positive relationships, and is comfortable in communicating with employees at all levels, in 1:1 and group settings. You are extremely proactive, have meticulous attention to detail, possess strong organization and problem-solving skills and are motivated by no two days looking entirely the same.


Key Outcomes:

  • Coach and champion managers in becoming effective leaders to enhance employee performance and engagement
  • Assist with employee relations issues by gathering the necessary information, communicate findings, exercise sound judgment in accordance with policy/law, and make recommendations for issue resolution.
  • Support organizational change and re-structure initiatives with workforce planning, communication guides, project management, and coaching/mentoring
  • Provide support and advice to questions and issues from employees at all levels
  • Implement HR programs such as talent and performance reviews, compensation planning, and corporate training programs
  • Support employee life-cycle activities including on-boarding, promotions, job changes, transfers, off-boarding, etc.
  • Stay up to date on local employment law changes and trends, and maintain all necessary recordkeeping in compliance with state and federal requirements

Do you have what it takes?

  • A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience, with at least 2 years of experience managing employee relations and advising leaders on how to effectively navigate employee performance, development, and other department challenges/opportunities.
  • Handle confidential information and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Maintain accuracy and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced business environment.

Additional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus
  • Intermediate skills with MS office suite.
  • Oracle experience preferred but not required.
