Position Overview
DigiKey is growing! With 3000 employees working in our brand new, state-of-the-art distribution center, and 5000 employees globally, we are adding an HR Service Center to our Human Resources model. We are currently open to hiring a manager to build the function and hire and lead the HR Service Center team.
As Manager, HR Service Center, you will be responsible for leading a team who delivers exceptional Human Resource (HR) process and technology support to DigiKey employees. You will have the opportunity to support and contribute to the transformation of our HR organization in this important and expanding role.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
Build out our current service delivery model, and collaborate with cross functional HR and HRIS teams on expanded solutions to implement and maintain best practice processes and workflows.
Ensure accurate and timely HR transaction processing and customer support.
Develop and report on key performance indicators and customer service level agreements.
Manage 3rd party vendor relationships.
Provide global process oversight of HR Workday supported processes, as well as HR Workday business process knowledge base and case management tools
Be a change leader by anticipating, assessing, and addressing the needs of the key partners
Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines, and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) protocols.
Key Qualifications for success in this role include:
Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum years of experience: Five or more years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including experience in a Shared Services or contact/call center environment
Experience in researching, implementing and managing emerging technology solutions that create efficiencies, including vendor management for technology solutions
Ability to lead and motivate a team while managing multiple priorities
Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
Workday or other HRIS technology experience (configuration, testing, business process build/ownership) strongly preferred
Previous people management experience strongly preferred
Physical requirements include:
Generally, spend the workday sitting or standing at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse, headset and screen
Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body

This is an onsite essential role located in Thief River Falls, MN. There is flexibility to work remotely periodically. Relocation assistance is available for candidates who live outside the greater Thief River Falls area.
