We are adding a Manager of Refrigerated Capacity Development to continue to fuel our growth through carrier acquisition, development, and opportunity execution. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our refrigerated freight footprint by working side by side with our Capacity Development, Carrier Sales, Customer Sales, and Pricing Strategy teams. You will be accountable for helping create, expand upon and implement a go-to-market strategy for our refrigerated line of business.
As Manager of Refrigerated Capacity Development, you’ll play a critical role in driving customer growth and satisfaction through the creation and implementation of unique solutions. You’ll be accountable for creating ways to utilize Loadsmart’s SaaS products and internal tools in order to drive results across the Brokerage division.
This position is an Individual Contributor role with the opportunity to grow and build a team around you. It requires a strong ability to collaborate across departments within Loadsmart, including Capacity Development, Carrier Sales, Customer Sales, Pricing Strategy, Partnerships, Product, and Marketing, in order to achieve group and company goals. You will obsess about growing our carrier partnerships and solutions processes, enabling Loadsmart to execute at the highest level for our customers. You will create a culture of sales success and lead by example.

Identify and develop KPI’s that measure department performance in relation to company goals

Develop and deploy strategic carrier acquisition strategy for entire department

Refrigerated fleet strategy and scale

Implement go-to-market operations strategies for Refrigerated business

Partner closely with Customer Sales team, including Enterprise Sales Directors and Account Managers, to create capacity solutions for new and existing customers

Acquire new providers for Loadsmart’s carrier network based on capacity needs and customer opportunities

Utilize Loadsmart’s SaaS products in order to effectively scale business execution

Establish and implement pricing strategies for contract business in collaboration with Pricing and Customer Sales teams

Travel for in person meetings, conferences, and other events to foster strong relationship development and long term partnerships.

Proven sales and leadership experience in freight brokerage or 3PL industry, with a focus on capacity development/procurement and solutions implementation

Creating and implementing strategic plans to delivery exceptional results

Proven aptitude for leadership and associate development

Experience with growing volume and wallet share

Strong relationship management skills and ability to have difficult conversations

Demonstrate sales methodologies and influencing skills; ability to negotiate and build strong business relationships internally and externally.
