Fugro Offshore Wind Service line unlocks insights from Geo-data to help you plan, design, build, operate and maintain your offshore wind farm in a safe, sustainable, and efficient manner. Our successful track record, combined with local presence and global knowledge, enables us to support offshore wind farm projects anywhere in the world.
Salary Range $110,00 – 160,000 annual salary per year
The Manager, Offshore Wind supports the marketing, coordinating, and tendering of global offshore wind solutions for the pacific offshore wind industry. They will assist with internal operations and recognizes changes to the business environment.
Job Responsibilities

Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

Documents opportunities for Fugro in the pacific offshore wind industry.

Maintains direct contact with regionally based clients and regulators to develop potential opportunities and follow up specific market research leads.

Disseminates client contact information within Fugro and uploads to Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Avalon).

Presents at selected industry tradeshows, exhibitions, and conferences.

Helps maintain client database.

Identifies new projects through contact with clients and market awareness.

Assists in the development of sales plans.

Supports general day-to-day business management, such as invoicing and collecting.

Implements directives of parent organization by communicating policies and general business efforts.

Participates in strategic planning sessions.

Influences technology advancements in collaboration with the global offshore wind solutions team to improve competitive edge.

Fosters relationships with local universities for recruitment, retention, and visibility.

Maintains valid business licenses and registrations, including a certificate of authorization to provide professional engineering and surveying services for pacific offshore wind.

Coordinates marine activities and logistics along the western seaboard of the US.
Job Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.

Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel.

Possess a Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Related Science, Business, or Communications.

Have 5 years or more of Business Development experience.

Has a good knowledge and understanding of market services.

Occasional travel is required.

Proficiency in office administration and database software.
