What you'll be doing:

Key responsibilities:

This position will interface with R&D Package Engineering, Product Development, New Product Implementation and Supply Chain team worldwide. Also interfaces with external package testing and standards organizations worldwide.

Manage compatibility, physical, transit and dimensional testing of product in the appropriate packaging materials to certify quality performance and shelf-life requirements. Be bold and agile: manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment, design experiments to resolve packaging problems, report on technical subjects. Interface with external experts to identify and evaluate new technologies and best practices.

7-10+ years experience in R&D, preferably in FMCG industry. MS or BS degree in Package Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Chemical or Mechanical Engineering) with packaging experience

Material knowledge in plastics, glass, paperboard and corrugated fiberboard.
Solid knowledge of ASTM, ISTA, TAPPI and ISO industry test methods including distribution simulation, compression, and top-load test procedures.
Excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong supervisory experience and ability to lead and develop people in the package testing function.
