Build, lead, and scale an integrated circuit (IC) validation engineering team to provide cross-functional technical leadership from product concept to mass production; apply technical expertise to guide and develop technical leads in emulation and validation; define KPIs to measure validation metrics and drive efficiency and productivity across the organization; drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between design, systems engineering and product development teams; execute test plans ensuring complete coverage and traceability of feature/system requirements; applying leadership skills to inspire, drive, and execute results through direct and cross-functional teams; communicating with direct development teams as well as broader cross-functional organization and senior management\ to ensure technical plans are successfully executed and business segment objectives are met; participating in developing methodologies for chip test and validation from requirements through tape-out; contributing towards the continuous development of Tools, Technology and Flows; fostering a culture of continuous engineering improvement through mentorship, feedback, and metrics; developing trainings and documentation, supporting team and product development; collaborating with IC design engineers, systems engineers and Application engineers to collaborate in test and validation methodologies.
REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus seven years of relevant experience or a PhD in one of the foregoing fields plus three years of relevant experience. In all cases, the position requires the ability to build, lead, and scale an IC validation engineering team to provide cross-functional technical leadership from product concept to mass production; technical expertise in the semiconductor area to guide and develop technical leads in emulation and validation; the ability to define KPIs to measure validation metrics and drive efficiency and productivity across the organization.

This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
