We’re a fully remote, fun, and ambitious team and get together every few months in person. As we grow, we’re looking to attract high-potential individuals who want to be part of a winning team. If that’s you, come join us!

About the Role

Mangomint is looking for a Vertical Growth Manager to drive the growth of one of our key customer segments - Beauty & Wellness. This segment includes businesses like spas, beauty studios, and wellness centers. As a Vertical Growth Manager at Mangomint, you will design the strategy and lead the execution of growth tactics that go deep into your market and resonate with the business owners and communities in your vertical.

You will be the internal voice that helps us across functions to become better at serving beauty and wellness business owners. This requires an in-depth understanding of dynamics in the vertical and the day-to-day challenges spa, beauty, and wellness business owners face.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with cross-functional teams and specialists to ensure we deliver on our growth ambitions. You’ll have a lot of autonomy to make decisions and execute growth tactics that you believe are right for your vertical.

As a Vertical Growth Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the growth trajectory of a critical customer segment within our business. This role provides the freedom to innovate, influence, and make a tangible impact across functions, all while building relationships with a dynamic team. If you’re driven by results and eager to lead in a role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role you can expect:

  • Profit & Loss (P&L) management: You will own the P&L for your vertical and are accountable for revenue growth and budgets.

  • Designing and leading the vertical growth strategy: You will design the activation model for acquiring new customers in the vertical. You will be responsible for setting goals, identifying key channels, and outlining tactics to reach and engage target audiences effectively.

  • Serving as the vertical advocate: You will be the voice of the vertical internally, bringing insights and feedback to influence decisions across the organization. This will include highlighting trends, needs, and opportunities ensuring all functions understand and support the needs of this segment.

  • Leading cross-functional team efforts: Although there are no direct reports for this role today, you’ll lead a multifunctional team that works across verticals to execute your growth plan.

  • Analyzing performance and identifying growth opportunities: You will analyze data and qualitative input to measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives. You will continuously adjust strategies based on insights to maximize growth and customer acquisition.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in the Beauty & Wellness market: You have experience from the vertical and are familiar with the challenges and trends affecting owners and operators. You intuitively connect with the people and culture of the vertical, which allows you to activate content and growth strategies that are relevant to them.

  • Leadership and influence: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a multifunctional team without formal authority. You possess the drive, initiative, and interpersonal skills to influence others and keep the team focused on shared goals.

  • Well-versed in growth strategies: You have a good understanding of the full marketing mix, including partnerships, content marketing, PR, and paid media. You know how to leverage each channel effectively to drive customer acquisition and achieve growth targets.

  • Analytical skills: Proficient in data analysis, able to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights that inform growth strategies. Comfortable using both quantitative and qualitative data to make informed decisions.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You are resourceful and eager to drive results and get things done. You challenge established norms and playbooks to create your path. A path based on understanding your market’s needs rather than following marketing best practices.
