You offer your unique skills and experiences, and Jefferson Wells offers something unique for you - besides gaining valuable experience with one of the most reputable organizations in the market, you're also earning pay worthy of your expertise and can depend on a full benefits package.Responsibilities:+ Plan, organize, coordinate, and administer U.S. GAAP provision U.S. multinational financial services company.+ Liaise with members of Corporate Financial Reporting and Tax personnel to ensure proper completion and consistency of the U.S. GAAP tax provision.+ Review supporting schedules for tax contingences.+ Review of return to provision adjustments.+ Review schedules prepared by team members and prepared consolidated analysis of key accounts.+ Identify and analyze complex transactions to ensure proper tax accounting treatment.+ Assist with the preparation of tax disclosures in the financial statements.+ Assess impact of changes in tax laws and its impact on the US GAAP tax provision+ Responsible for a high-level understanding of the tax accounting and tax compliance impact for a line of business or segment.+ Comply with SOX 404 requirements.Required:+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant business major+ Experience with TaxStream, CorpTax and Advanced Excel formulas+ Experience with year-end close process+ Minimum of five years of Corporate Tax, specifically FAS 109/ASC 740 experience+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus!• *_What's in it for you?_**• *_Pay Rate:_** _$55-80/hour__Position type: Contract__Work Location: Most engagements are remote_• *_Why should you choose Jefferson Wells?_**+ _Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k_+ _Weekly pay with direct deposit_+ _Consultant Care support_+ _Free training to upgrade your skills_+ _Dedicated Career Partner to help you achieve your career goals_Jefferson Wells ( ) is a professional services firm delivering solutions in Finance & Accounting, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, and Tax.
