Manufacturing Operator (Work 3 Days/Week and Full-Time Benefit Eligible!)

Have you ever wanted to fit a full work week into just 3 days a week? This opportunity would allow you to work full-time in just 3 days a week, leaving time to attend school, work another part time job or time to do other things. Excellent benefits offered! Benefits include health, dental, retirement and tuition reimbursement. Pay is $23.85/hour after 60 days with the certification pay and night shift premium pays an additional $1.50/hour after 4 months. That is $25.35/hour at four months of employment! In addition, hours worked past 10 hours in the day is paid at time and a half (up to $38/hour)! Note, there will be roughly 2 times a month where you will need to work 4 days. If you are scheduled for a 4-day week, you will be paid at time and a half (up to $38/hour) for hours worked past 8 hours in a day for that 4-day week.

Job Duties

• Operate cheese processing equipment & wrapping equipment
• Perform clean-up duties
• Complete food production records
• Operate computer/production screens
• Adhere to food safety and partner safety policies and practices
• Work both individually and as a team member

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Computer literacy
• Effective verbal and written skills

Preferred Requirements

• Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required
• Other relevant work experience preferred, but not required
• Stable work history
• Ability to train on any shift
• Mechanical aptitude to operate equipment

Schedule/Shifts

• This position is a 12-hour night shift
• Work weeks are targeted to be Monday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday (when we are running 4 days a week which is anticipated to be about 2 times a month).
• Most work weeks will be 36 hours/week, with overtime after 10 hours in a day and full-time benefit eligible.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 51 pounds on a frequent basis
• Ability to tolerate hot and wet conditions during clean up
