Our users are diverse, and we are therefore committed to embracing diversity of thought and experience within our team.Senior Product Designers at Mark43 think hard across systems, champion design ideation, simplify complex workflows by collaborating with stakeholders, advocate for users, and deliver impactful designs for direct users in law enforcement agencies. We are looking to add senior designer with 5 + years of professional software product design experience, including deep and demonstrable expertise in interface & interaction design.At Mark43,• You will own end-to-end product design process by conducting research, designing solutions from insights, iterating based on data, and collaborating closely with product and engineering to deliver best in class product.• You will collaborate with the cross-functional teams to facilitate design thinking and innovating in our space.• You will be designing solutions specifically for law enforcement, first responders, and 911 dispatchers. Design focus will be on enhancing their safety, improving their attention, and minimizing cognitive load through effective information design, intuitive visual designs, dynamic animations, and responsive feedback mechanisms.• You will be designing across devices desktop, tablet, and mobile apps in various environments. Experience with responsive design, map interactions, & multimodality is nice to have.• You will be proactively meeting with the design team for the feedback, product teams to plan the roadmap, and engineering for sprint meetings to drive the work forward.• You are comfortable presenting design solutions with our customers and leadership teams, actively seeking feedback, and iterating quickly.• You care deeply about product craftsmanship, proficient in Figma, and contribute to design systems and consistent pattern libraries.Must haves• 5+ years of professional product design experience.• 3+ years of designing complex enterprise product.• Understanding of native iOS and Android applications.• Understanding of front-end technologies.• Experience leading user research & feedback session.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Nice to haves• Experience with cloud technology.• Experience working with data, ML & AI to design contextually aware features.• Experience working on maps.People who thrive on our team also tend to share the following characteristics:Humble, open, and curious.
