The Marketing Analytics team is on the leading edge of marketing analytics innovation. The team partners with the entire marketing organization, ensuring stakeholders have data and insights needed to propel better decisions. The broader Operations team includes data science, marketing automation, marketing technology, and website implementation.

Partner with the best

As a Marketing Analytics Strategist, you will be an integral part of Akamai's Marketing Analytics team. You will work closely with the Marketing Leadership team to answer key business questions and provide recommendations. You will harness the power of data, analytics & insights to guide decision making across the organization.

As a Marketing Analytics Strategist, you will be responsible for:

• Providing data-informed analyses to leadership addressing business marketing performance & ROI, while prescribing actionable next steps
• Focusing on data/storytelling and insightful narratives to advise optimal actions for marketing leadership, for investment, target markets
• Defining, creating and implementing a methodology to measure key outputs of the business while providing insights and actions
• Crafting analytics driven updates that support executive readouts, custom analyses and insights shared across the broader organization
• Managing & maintaining strong relationships with Marketing Leadership to understand the marketing organizations strategic priorities and goals.
• Monitoring the overall marketing performance and targets, while communicating and sharing insights back to the organization

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
• Have experience with advanced analytics concepts including attribution models, ROI, LTV:CAC,
• Demonstrate advanced Excel experience
• Be familiar with marketing datasets: Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Marketo, or comparable systems.
• Have experience using database queries, spreadsheet models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis, and campaign management software tools.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $149,122 - $238,744/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
