Marketing Intern

Job Description

Responsibilities

The marketing intern will prioritize projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The position demands effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles with the ability to complete projects on time. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Working with marketing teamson program management within the following:
  • Channels: Wholesale, Retail and E-commerce
  • Segments: New Construction, Remodel, Repair & Replace, Renovation, Hospitality, and Commercial
• Maintaining internal PO processing, working with both internal and outside agencies and customers to support financial accountability
• Meeting established deadlines for assigned projects and proactively informing stakeholders of project status
• Conducting necessary follow-ups with team members regarding updates and changes to their respective projects
• Assembling reports to evaluate the competition, market dynamics, and other team priorities
• Assisting with Field Reporting App (FRApp) reporting and communication
• Coordinating and leading special projects as requested by team members
• Maintaining effective communication between team members and your internship manager to manage prioritization and team timing expectations
• Supporting team organization and administrative requests for various projects.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a College or University program working towards aBachelor's or Master’sdegree in a relevant business major
• Must be able to work as an intern for a full 12-month (FT during the summer & PT during the school semesters) term. The hourly schedule is flexible based on semester availability.
• Candidate must be able to work 50% (or greater) of their workweek time, at our North Olmsted, OH location Tuesday-Thursday. This is not a remote position.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills
• Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Demonstrates resourcefulness as well as team and interpersonal skills to participate in cross-functional teams
• Ability to collaborate and work with various levels of the organization
• Resourceful, well-organized, highly dependable, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word, and Outlook).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and/or Asana a plus
