This is a critical role driving the execution of Fluidly marketing. A pivotal, generalist role, reporting to the Head of Marketing and a rare opportunity to have complete ownership of marketing planning and execution for a well-established B2B SaaS brand.
You will work across all aspects of marketing activity. This includes:
- Brand & positioning
- Partnership management - drive joint marketing activities with our strong 1,300+ network of accountancy firms
- Customer acquisition, adoption, and retention
- Product marketing
This will be a hands-on role working across the marketing mix offering great exposure to multiple channels and plenty of variety. Outstanding project management is essential.
We’re looking for at least 4 years of experience in generalist marketing roles, or in specialist roles across a few different channels. B2B marketing experience is preferred.
The role will include:
- Planning and executing lead generation activity to acquire new business customers across a variety of channels. This might include:
- Writing, building and sending emails to our prospect pool
- Organizing Fluidly presence at events such as exhibitions and roadshows
- Developing and running co-branded partnership activity; webinars, advertorials, ads, email campaigns
- Writing industry award applications
- Managing the Fluidly brand presence for online channels:
- Own Twitter and Linkedin accounts
- Maintain and optimise the website
- Produce content for the Fluidly blog and newsletters
- Supporting the sales team:
- Organising and promoting sales and customer webinars
- Producing written and visual material (with the help of a designer) for the sales team to allow them to educate prospects and customers about the Fluidly product
- Product/customer marketing:
- Work closely with the product team to position new product features to the customer base
- Run campaigns to increase adoption of Fluidly product and services
- Send out monthly communications to keep the Fluidly customer base engaged and informed

- You have high attention to detail. You’ll take ownership of the Fluidly brand and care deeply about every aspect of it
- You write in a clear and straightforward way with perfect spelling and grammar
- Excellent organizational skills - you’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines. You’re the sort of person people rely on and if you say you’ll make it happen you’ll find a way to get it done
- You’re good at problem solving in a creative way
- You’ve got a commercial mindset - you understand return on investment for all the activity we do
Knowledge
- You understand the B2B sales cycle and how to engage leads at different stages with different sorts of messaging and content
- You understand the importance of a brand always telling a consistent message and can apply the Fluidly story to different pieces of content
- You’ve got huge customer empathy and can quickly understand the accountant audience and write compelling copy that appeals to our customers
- You’ve got experience in some of the areas mentioned above, and an appetite to learn the rest
