Our Production Department is now looking for an Operations & Purchasing Coordinator to track and manage production orders, coordinate inventory management and assist in reviews, audits and other admin tasks inherent to the role.

This is a full-time position for a 1 year contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate, track, and manage Purchase & Production Orders in Marley Spoon’s ERP, ensuring accurate quantities and timely delivery.
  • Support daily supplier relations to ensure the timely delivery of the product; resolve shipping issues, manage purchase order changes, and review monthly scorecards to implement necessary corrective action plans (e.g. delivery times or quality improvements).
  • Review, track, reconcile, and approve invoices in conformity with the received product.
  • Assist Category Managers to resolve item and vendor issues where stock and service levels are not being met against established inventory plans.
  • Maintain a daily inbound receiving schedule and coordinate with vendors and/or carriers to make sure purchase orders are delivered on desired dates, communicating any issues to the organization.
  • Maintain adequate replenishment inventory to support daily fulfillment while achieving the desired turns and minimum inventory number.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse supervisors to ensure the product is received and available for production.
  • Support Strategic Sourcing in preparing periodical supplier performance reviews and internal meetings.
  • Responsible for reporting in Purchasing KPIs.

Must Have:

  • 1 year experience in a Supply Chain/Purchasing/Operations related role.
  • Good analytical skills and intermediate user of Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Process and information flow understanding.
  • Driven to achieve the highest quality in daily work.
  • Strong problem solving & multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
  • Team player and good communication skills with a passion to always learn more and share your knowledge with others.
