In this role, you will collaborate closely with our marketing team to develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive marketing programs that enhance Mercer's intellectual capital, strengthen our brand, and drive demand generation within our expanding US Wealth business.As the US Retirement Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the digital marketing strategy and initiatives to support our Retirement solutions, including Defined Contribution, Pooled Employer Plans, and Defined Benefits. Your in-depth knowledge and expertise in investments will be crucial in effectively promoting and positioning our Retirement solutions in the digital landscape.Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position to be based in one of several Mercer offices including Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Salt Lake City, UT, Columbus, OH, Charlotte, NC, Charleston, SC, Des Moines, IA, Louisville, KY, St. Louis, MO, or Philadelphia, PA:US Retirement Marketing ManagerWhat can you expect?• Manage several internal key stakeholders to prioritize business objectives and align with marketing initiatives.• Implement and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, such as social media, email marketing, search engine marketing, and display advertising, to generate leads and drive engagement.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling digital content, including articles, whitepapers, videos, and infographics, that effectively communicate Mercer's expertise and value proposition.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to leverage technology platforms and tools that enhance the digital marketing capabilities and effectiveness of the US Retirement marketing team.What is in it for you?• A company with a strong brand and strong results to match.• Culture of internal mobility, collaboration and valued partnership with the business.• Employee Resource Groups, which provide access to leaders, relevant volunteer and mentoring opportunities and interactions with counterparts in industry groups and client organizations.• Competitive pay (salary and performance bonus potential), full benefits package – starting day one (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, generous 401(k) match AND contribution).• Flexible work opportunities for work/life balance.• Tuition Reimbursement plan and participation in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.We will Count on you to:• Be an exceptionally collaborative self-starter, thinking big and operating lean to drive innovative marketing solutions.• Drive digital marketing strategies, including demand generation, to enhance Mercer's brand visibility and thought leadership in the US Retirement market.• Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and engagement levels, to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.• Perform operational and administrative tasks as required to support the execution of marketing initiatives.• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, and proactively recommend innovative strategies and tactics to enhance Mercer's digital presence and competitive advantage.What you need to have:• 8+ years of retirement solutions experience, including Defined Contribution, Pooled Employer Plans or Defined Benefits; understanding products, performance & compliance.• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.• Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on demand generation, preferably within the financial services or retirement industry.• Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and content marketing.• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights and optimize digital marketing campaigns.• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively document and report on campaign successes.• Ability to manage internal key stakeholders and align marketing initiatives with business objectives.What Makes You Stand Out?• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.• Microsoft Office experience; focus on strong PowerPoint skills.• Experience managing advisory boards or COE’s is preferred.Mercer believes in building brighter futures by redefining the world of work, reshaping retirement and investment outcomes, and unlocking real health and well-being.
