When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL).  We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our Dallas, LA, or NYC office 2 days/week.

How you’ll make an impact:
  • You will execute strategic communications campaigns, including developing messaging, drafting media materials and handling pitching/distribution across outlets.

  • You will coordinate spokesperson training and messaging.
  • You will oversee conferences and speaking opportunities for executives.
  • You will maintain social media editorial calendars for executives.
  • You will participate in ongoing outreach and relationship-building with key media outlets and reporters.
  • You will build and maintain media lists and research documents.
  • You will assist in internal distribution of key media placements, coverage reports and impact metrics.
  • You will function as the first level of response for incoming media inquiries.
  • You will monitor media and update executives on topical issues.
  • You will maintain and organize key team resources, drives and documents.

We could be a match if:
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree
  • You have 5+ years of experience working in a media relations or communications role, preferably a combination of agency and in-house.
  • You have the ability to work with teams across various time zones and regions.
  • You have superior research and written/oral communication skills.
  • You have strong knowledge of the media landscape with relationships across key tech/business outlets.
  • You have experience in crisis communications.
  • You thrive in high pressure environments, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • You are proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, GDrive and other office programs.

What's the team like?
  • This role will report to the Sr. Director, Trust & Safety Communications.
  • We're highly collaborative and serve global stakeholders, so being nimble and organized is key.
  • The Communications team multi-task in a fast-paced environment; they are excellent writers who are intrinsically motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
  • We sweat the small stuff so others don’t have to—all while delivering high quality work.
