Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Materials Planning Analyst located in our Austin, TX site.
Reporting to the Materials Planning Director, the student will assist with daily material management tasks while learning, collaborating and working with cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:

Assists in tacking critical shortages, preparing warehouse space utilization reports and comparing consumables forecast accuracy

Collects, compiles, analyzes and presents various types of data and audits data for accuracy and prepares recommendations to management based on the analysis of data.

Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on analysis of data from multiple sources, which may include but will not be limited to customer bills of material reports, staff metrics, PPV metrics, and PPV form tracking.

Creates and/or maintains databases in support of data collection.

Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics and suggests process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities.

Tracks materials financial performance, and initiate corrective actions when required.
Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Senior undergrad student pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management

Microsoft Office; Excel and MRP (advanced skills strongly preferred)

Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
-
Previous related internship experience; a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:

Available to start on May 30th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment

Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
