Description & Requirements Maximus is currently looking for a QA Supervisor (remote) to join our team supporting FEMA, Federal Emergency Management Agency. The QA Supervisor will be responsible for providing front-line, first level management and leadership to direct reports, with the goal of meeting program objectives and customer service level agreements, within the FEMA project. *This position... is a Remote - Work at Home position *This is a temporary position *Must live in the contiguous United States *Must be able to pass a federal background check In this position, you will be supporting survivors of natural disaster. The FEMA team strives to be available to help those in need requiring us to have flexibility. This position will require you to have availability to work an eight (8) hour shift, (5) days per week anytime between the hours of 6: 30am - 2: 00am EST (including weekends). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Conduct Monthly "1x1" meetings with staff and evaluate employee performance and make recommendations on employee Bonus and Merit incentives. - Identify and set monthly individual/team goals. - Develop Quality Checklist, based upon client requirements. - Identify avenues to improve business processes by analyzing quality evaluations and making recommendations to operations management. - Prepare daily and weekly updates for QA Management based upon monthly sample and staff productivity. - Participate in internal audits of policies and procedures of other departments. - Act as subject matter expert for the Quality Assurance team members. - Supervise quality control tasks related to loan intake, mail intake, payment processing and back-office non-financial processing functions. - Review and distribute daily work. - Verify accuracy of timecards against approved schedules. - Ensure compliance with company Wage & Hour policy, including ensuring non-exempt employees get the rest & meal breaks. - Comply with all company required policies, procedures and processes including but not limited to required training. - Direct subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies. - Discuss job performance concerns with subordinates to identify causes and issues and works closely with the Human Resources department on resolving problems. - Identify training needs and development opportunities for subordinates. - Perform other duties as may be assigned by management. Minimum Requirements: - Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree. - Minimum of three (3) years of related experience. - Per client Requirement US Citizenship is required - Must live in the contiguous United States - Must be able to pass a federal background check Home Office Requirements: - Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection - Internet download speed of 25mbps single/50mbps shared and 5mbps (10 preferred) upload or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net) - Private work area and adequate power source - Video calls may be requested on occasion. Proper background and attire is required - All equipment will be provided by Maximus (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset) Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
