Production Operator

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a slitter/rewinder
• Package product as it comes off the equipment
• Seal finished boxes, and apply shipping label
• Place in pallet for shipment
• Assemble boxes needed to package product
• Assist personnel throughout the production floor, as needed

Shift Details: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Work every other weekend, from 5:00 am - 11:00 am

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of related experience

Critical Skills:

• Ability to lift and handle packages of up to 50 pounds
• Responsible and reliable employee
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Willingness to learn
• Able to get along and collaborate with other team members
• Ability to handle last minute production changes without frustration

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience operating manufacturing equipment
• Mechanical abilities
• Equipment used:
• Highly automated finishing equipment used in the manufacturing process for thermal labels.
• Training on equipment will be provided.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$18.14 - $30.23
