What you will do:

Provide expert measurement related technical support and direction to field measurement technicians.
Resolve day-to-day measurement and regulation O&M issues by actively participating in the troubleshooting of systems and equipment.
Monitors field maintenance practices to ensure safe and reliable operation of measurement and regulation facilities in compliance with applicable industry codes and standards and company Standard Operating Procedures.
Provide training for field measurement technicians and monitors progress in the company Employee Qualification and Operator Qualification Programs.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies, practices and procedures.
Assist in the process of design review thru commissioning and follow-up monitoring of measurement related projects.
Assist in specifying, installing and/or evaluating new equipment at field locations.
Provide feedback to Area Supervision on employee technical ability and recommended training opportunities.
Work with local distribution company and power generation customers to resolve ongoing operational issues.

Who you are:

You have the following education and/or experience:

Related university degree and four‐plus (4+) years’ experience OR six‐plus (6+) years of previous field operations experience.

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 25 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
