This role : Media Account Manager

The Media Account Manager role is responsible for the development of media recommendations and plans consistent with the advertising and marketing strategies.

On approval of these plans the Account Manager then implements, monitors their execution and conducts post analysis and forward recommendations based on campaign learnings.

The Media Account Manager is also responsible for conducting statistical media analysis to help identify key category insights to help shape media activity and improve and optimise overall campaign outcomes.

You will utilise your strong media knowledge, creative thinking and factual analysis to develop, manage and implement optimum media planning and buying. You will play a key role in presenting and selling the media plans and strategy to the client, you will then manage the implementation process, ensuring the team and associated disciplines deliver executional excellence and insightful post analysis.

What you’ll need to bring to the team

  • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in constantly evolving media landscape, while delivering quality work by deadlines
  • Thorough and proven experience at an intermediate level with a minimum of 2-3 years of Media agency experience
  • Strong analytical skill & numerical reasoning skills, proven ability to problem solve
  • Excellent client management and presentation skills
  • Confidence and competence in decision-making
  • Strong desire to achieve excellent results with energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to handle pressure, demands of clients, deadlines, and a busy environment
  • Ability to work autonomously to compile media recommendations
  • Strong organisational skills to see that all day-to-day tasks are managed with ease
