The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Membership and Operations Specialist for our downtown Chicago office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).
The Membership and Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing and executing membership strategies to handle administrative, operational, programmatic and governance logistics for the Society for Healthcare and Market Development (SHSMD). SHSMD is a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association (AHA). The Specialist handles financial invoicing, tracking, and reporting, onsite and online event registration legal contract processes, volunteer and committee work and governance functions. The Specialist handles SHSMD membership data functions in a CRM (customer relationship management) database.
