To apply, click "Apply to Job" online on this web page.Required Skills:Product Design Engineer Responsibilities:- Developing hardware systems for VR, AR and New Technology Initiatives.- Exploring and developing concepts through prototyping and into mass-production consumer electronics.- Working as part of a cross functional team and collaborating in domains other than mechanical engineering.- Contributing to mechanical solutions.- Modeling, building, testing and refining prototypes and characterization test systems.- Working across the full product development cycle from concept inception to shipping product.- Collaborating and managing work with Asia-based supply chain.- Push state of the art technologies and approaches to solving complex mechanical problems.- Position requires domestic and international travel 20% of the time.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:- Employer will accept a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Product Design Engineer-related occupation.- Position requires 36 months of experience in the following:- 1. Mechanical engineering fundamentals such as prototyping skills, CAD and manufacturing process knowledge- 2. Thermal Design, Design for Reliability and Failure Analysis- 3. Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)- 4. Statistical tolerance analysis techniques- 5. Functional dimensioning- 6. GD&T and 3D or 2D CAD- 7. Testing and analysis such as FEA, Simulation or Design of Experiments- 8.
