Senior Software Engineer, Backend
Metropolis is an AI company reimagining parking experiences. Seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and implement mobility products.
Skills
- Working knowledge of Scala, Java or other JVM languages
- Experience building distributed systems using SOA, microservices, event-driven architectures
- Deep understanding of agile engineering processes
- Experience with database technologies, especially MySQL/RDS
- Hands-on experience with container technologies and infrastructure as code techniques
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain backend services for Metropolis mobility platform
- Moderate technical discussions and evaluate new techniques
- Build a culture where bugs in production are opportunities for improvement
- Ensure highly available and scalable systems
- Work with partners to integrate products with Metropolis platform
Education
- MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
