It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:As an SMB Manager, you will play a pivotal role for Mews as we enter the next phase of our high-growth journey in North America.You will be responsible for coordinating the SMB sales team and ensuring their monthly performance goals are met and exceeded. You are expected to fully contribute to the team effort and play an integral part in the smooth running of teams taking the lead when necessary. You will promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables and act without being told what to do so, bringing new ideas to the company.✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the SMB sales team and your territory• Hold responsibility for the SMB team members monthly and annual quota attainment, driving a hungry, hunter mindset that contributes to the wider Commercial growth goals.• Train, develop and manage SMB team members to help in the creation of the next generation of Commercial sales at Mews.• Drive and control performance metrics to ensure team members hit required levels of consistency and delivery.• Provide weekly forecasting on team performance and provide coaching to the team on forecasting best practices• Demonstrate commitment to the team to ensure the team achieves its goals, objectives and COM service level agreements (SLA's).• Where necessary, identify short falls in the process and procedures and suggest process improvements and work with the necessary departments to ensure they come to fruition.• Control the onboarding for additional team members, ensuring we keep to a defined ramp period.• Quarterly travel as needed to visit prospects and conferences🤝️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:• Based in the US, East Coast preferred.• 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience including 2+ years in sales leadership in a "land-and-expand" sales model• Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment• Demonstrated success in not just achieving but exceeding sales goals• Self-motivated with a creative and entrepreneurial spirit• Someone who enjoys teaching and upleveling a sales team• Excited about the opportunity to sell into a greenfield territory• Experience selling in-person• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.• Previous experience in Hotel/Hostel Sales or Hospitality Software Sales is a nice to have, not a must-have.This is not a remote-only position, and candidates should be willing to travel up to 25%, attend events, and participate in in-person meetings.
