At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:As a Limousine Dispatcher, you will ensure smooth and efficient transportation services for our VIP clients, guests, and executives across all MGM properties. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.THE DAY-TO-DAY:• Coordinate guest limousine reservation requests with casino hosts and VIP personnel.• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities in the department.• Communicate through two‐way radio or cellular telephone with limousine and shuttle bus drivers to understand constant status and location; communicate through a multi‐line phone system with other departments and properties to assist both drivers and guests.• Use computer programs to track airline flights, review limousine reservations, find addresses and map driving routes.• Order extra limousines from outside companies for special events and areas outside average driving distances.• Train newly hired dispatchers on working with radios, computer programs such as Customer Relations Management (CRM), answering multi‐line phone system and dispatching.• Prioritize guest reservations / dispatches and assign errand requests to runners.• Answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:• Prior experience within transportation and/or as a dispatcher in a similar or related field.• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective listening abilities.• Takes pride in their work, can multi-task and describes themselves as detail oriented.THE STARTING PAY:• $21.00 per hour.THE SCHEDULE:• On-Call.
