Junior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

PrimeRx develops pharmacy software solutions, helping independent pharmacies, hospitals, and institutions fill prescriptions swiftly, securely and profitably while meeting the challenges of today’s pharmacy market. Easy to use, PrimeRx pharmacy software quickly becomes an integral tool for the staff’s prescription workflows, includes features that will streamline daily processes.

The Junior Accountant will report to the Manager of Finance to support the accounting and financial processes. This includes month-end close journal entries, preparation of account reconciliations, and AP/AR task

• Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
• Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
• Research and present month-over-month variance analysis for GAAP and MGMT reporting
• Support data systems integration and reconciliation
• Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits
• Support the Manager of Finance to coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for timely completion of annual audit reports and tax filings
• Support A/R and A/P with various functions.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
• Continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
• Support CFO and the Manager of Finance with special projects as requested

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
• Detail oriented

• Experience using Intacct and/or Zoho
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong team building skills
• Personal drive, energy and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with high expectations for responsiveness
• Able to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
