Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.As a Fab 4 YE SEM Technician at Micron, you will focus on the operation and minor maintenance of SEMs and Dual Beams (FIB/SEM), sample preparation for SEM /Dual Beam that includes safe operation of the acid hood, sputter coaters, ion millers, UV cleaners, March/Oxford etchers, SELA (micro-cleaving tool), CMP, Nikon Optiphot and Zeiss Microtronics optical microscopes. Perform physical failure analysis using SEM, FIB, de-layering, and a keen eye for detail.In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:• Provide SEM support for FAB 4 YE part types (NAND, DRAM, and EM)• Communicate with part type engineers regarding requests, priorities, and/or general communications regarding the queue, etc.• Communicate with Micron team members and supplier representatives at all levels regarding tool issues, requests, support items, etc.Qualified Candidates For This Position Will Have• Good understanding of FAB process steps: wet etch, dry etch, PVD, ALD, CMP, etc.• Ability to prioritize and work independently• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)• Ability to analyze problems and provide resolution• Experience in semiconductor physical failure analysis preferred but not required• PC skills to include M.S.
