This is a high visibility, individual contributor role, reporting into Senior Director Business Strategy and Programs, with accountability across four key areas:• Support the Senior Director of CX Strategy and Insights with Strategy Development and optimization that continues to establish Microsoft as the world’s most customer centric organization.• Continuously drive research and leverage data and insights (market, customer, partner, and field teams) to identify disruptive whitespace and growth opportunities that accelerate Microsoft’s mission and provide inimitable competitive advantage.• Lead business case development cycle for net-new strategic initiatives, moving them through ideation, ROI analysis, narrative development, executive reviews, funding approvals, and seamlessly hand off to Business Planning and relevant execution teams.• Partner across Microsoft cross functional teams, manage relationships, build a network of champions globally, and influence senior leaders up to VP and CVP level on future strategy roadmaps. Develop a v-team that can be leveraged to review new initiatives narrative reads and manage ongoing cadence.This exciting opportunity provides visibility, influence and leadership across CE&S and the entire Microsoft ecosystem. Build the CX insights capability, lead/drive research, and convert findings into relevant insights that can inform strategic direction for the organization.QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience• OR Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience• OR equivalent experience.• Experience as a thought leader with in-depth knowledge of Customer Experience (CX) trends across the Tech sector and various other industries, showcasing how technology is driving disruptive new models.• Expertise in understanding industry business metrics, financial analytics, and proficiency with financial calculations.• Experience in a complex multi-team and strategy fast paced business environment.Additional Or Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience• OR Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 6+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience• OR equivalent experience.• 3+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.• Knowledge (applied experience not mandatory) of Microsoft offerings and services portfolio, Microsoft technology, and cloud computing.• Executive presence, proven experience with influencing senior executive leaders and being a trusted advisor on strategy development and whitespace opportunity ideation and design.• High degree of numeracy, highly developed quantitative and analytical skills.• Most recently in a Director level role responsible for business and technology strategy development.Business Strategy IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
